Closed-Circuit Breathing Apparatus

Dräger closed-circuit breathing apparatus (CCBA) — long-duration oxygen rebreathers for mine rescue, tunnelling, chemical plant and other work where a compressed-air set would not last. Exhaled air is scrubbed of carbon dioxide and re-oxygenated, giving up to four hours of use from one small oxygen cylinder.
