This page explains the choices you have about your personal data when you use iiimed.parts and how to exercise them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and why.
What we do — and do not do — with your data
We collect personal information from your interactions with us and our website, including through cookies and similar technologies, in order to process orders, answer enquiries, keep the site secure and understand how it is used. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising or other targeted advertising. Personal data goes only to the service providers we need to run the store and fulfil your order — hosting, payment processing, couriers and customs brokers — under contract, and to authorities where the law requires it. If this ever changes, we will update the Privacy Policy and this page first.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies keep the site working (cart, checkout, security) and are always on. Non-essential cookies — analytics and any marketing tags — are used only where permitted. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set, and you can decline without losing access to the site. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time: delete this site's cookies in your browser (the banner will ask again on your next visit), adjust your browser settings, or email us and we will record your preference for your customer account.
Your rights in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the Swiss FADP you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy in a portable format; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased where we no longer need it; restrict or object to processing, including an absolute right to object to direct marketing; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects on you (we make no such decisions).
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@iiimed.parts. We may ask you to verify your identity. We reply within one month; for complex requests this may be extended by up to two further months, in which case we tell you why. Exercising your rights is free of charge. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EEA the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
International transfers
Our store runs on Shopify and our service providers operate in several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside the country you are in. Where required, transfers are covered by recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Marketing messages
We send marketing e-mails only with your consent where the law requires it. Every marketing e-mail contains an unsubscribe link; you can also opt out by writing to sales@iiimed.parts. Order confirmations and service notices are not marketing and continue for as long as you have an open order or an account.
If you live in a U.S. state with a privacy law
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know, access, correct and delete their personal information, to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising or profiling, and to appeal a decision on a request. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in the normal course of business; you may nevertheless record an opt-out below, and it will be honoured should our practices ever change. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Record an opt-out
Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is needed in the normal course of business. If you nevertheless want an opt-out on record for your browser and customer account, email sales@iiimed.parts with the subject line "Privacy opt-out" and we will confirm it in writing, or enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honour automatically.
